Cape Lookout Park Boardwalk

Thousands of National Park visitors will now enjoy this environmentally-respecting boardwalk that spans several thousand feet.

The Outcome

Cape Lookout, North Carolina (OBX)

Scope: Demolition of entire mile long boardwalk and rebuilding of boardwalk, handrails, and bench seating. Roughly 3,000 linear feet of boardwalk were built. Cape Lookout is an uninhabited island which is only accessible by boat. The pictures only capture a fraction of the total project.

It was imperative for the structures to be designed, engineered, and constructed harmoniously and safely within the protected National Park habitat. The National Park Service knew they could trust The Wexing Group with this sensitive and important project.
