Saint Francis Seawall Engineering & Construction

It's not every project that demands anthropologists and historians to collaborate with environmental and civil engineers, and builders.

The Outcome

Saint Augustine, Florida

Scope: To renovate and restore the 200 year-old seawall at the St. Francis Barracks, including a new concrete seawall where the wall could not be restored. This project required close work with anthropologists and local historians because of the historical nature of this site. We poured 157' concrete seawall suspended by a Dead-man system.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers needed a qualified team to engineer and construct in historic and advanced circumstances with environmental concerns. They knew they could trust The Wexing Group to build a custom seawall right the first time.
